I'm considering adding a photo gallery where members can create their own gallery and sub-galleries. They can then control who is able to see their gallery from a selection of: all; registered members; or they can even specify only a certain list of members. For instance... you could create a set of pictures in your main gallery that you want anyone to be able to see. Then you could create a sub-gallery that only registered members of this site are allowed to view. You could even add a third sub-gallery where only the people you list are able to see the pictures that are in that gallery.

Is this sort of thing wanted? Would it make this site more useful?

OK folks, I've added the photo gallery. http://comeshowme.com/v-web/gallery2/

You are now able to offer our readers an unlimited number of full-size pictures instead of just the tiny avatar! Simply link to your album or individual photo from within your posted message.

Have fun!

Due to my web hosting company's growth, they are moving their servers and have messed up my photo gallery in the process. They claim to be working on it, but today is the 4th day it has not been working. I believe it is a simple matter to fix (less than 5 minutes), but I cannot seem to get them to jump the cue for me. They are swamped with complaints from MANY web sites, so I guess I just have to wait my turn.

Sorry for the inconvenience. You will see an error message if you try to access the gallery now. Once it is fixed, the error message will be gone, and you can once again enjoy the gallery.

After 5 days, Gallery is back. Hurray!
It sure took them long enough to fix it!

After many telephone calls, I was able to convince them to turn off safe mode. Something else was wrong on the server, but once they actually looked at it, it took less than half an hour to correct. Gallery was again functional as of 2:30 this morning! Next time I guess I should call in the wee hours of the day and stay on line until it is actually fixed. They kept telling me it would be corrected within 12 to 24 hours, but it seems nobody really did look at it.

Now I need to update Gallery to the newest version... let's hope that goes without any problems.   :?

Gallery is now running on the latest release version available. There is now the ability to send images to cell phones, but there IS a small charge for this service (similar to the charge for printing images). These fees go to the service supplier and to the makers of the Gallery software.

The next release of Gallery will offer the ability to send e-cards!
